Midnight Sun Rifle Challenge 2017 is THE Scandinavian competition to participate in if you want to develop yourself as a shooter. Good infrastructure, nice people and nice scenery. Come and explore yourself as a shooter.
This is stage 9, "Stang":
"Stang" shooting is a Norwegian speciality practiced in DFS (our national shooting organization). In 30 seconds, shoot the target as many times as possible.
Target is ø 35 cm, range is 450 meters. Score 1 point for each hit.
Training and strategy tip for this stage:
The LR Proficiency test will give you the basic skills needed for this stage. Get straight in line with the target and make sure both bipod and rearbag is well settled. Obviously, having magazines available is helpful and you will score extra points if you can change the magazines fast and fluent.
